💡 Notes & Tips

  • Mangoes: Use ripe, sweet, pulpy varieties. Avoid fibrous or stringy mangoes.

  • Yogurt: Full-fat yogurt gives creamier lassi. Greek yogurt can also be used; thin with milk or water if needed.

  • Sweeteners: Sugar, honey, jaggery, coconut sugar, or maple syrup can be used depending on taste. Adjust based on mango sweetness.

  • Flavorings: Optional; try cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, rose water, saffron, or cardamom.

  • Canned Mango Pulp: Can substitute fresh mangoes; reduce added sugar as canned pulp may already be sweetened.

  • Vegan Option: Use plant-based yogurt like almond, oat, cashew, or coconut yogurt.

  • Scaling: Recipe can be doubled or tripled for larger batches.

This mango lassi is perfect for summer refreshment, a cool breakfast drink, or a dessert beverage.
