๐Ÿงบ Ingredients

  • 1 cup mango, chopped (or 1 large mango)

  • 2 medium bananas, chopped
    (or 3 small bananas / 1 large banana / approx. ⅔ cup chopped)

  • 1 cup whole milk, divided

  • 2 cups curd (yogurt)

  • 1 tablespoon rose water (optional)

  • 4–5 green cardamoms, seeds only, husks discarded (optional)

  • 4–5 tablespoons sugar or honey, or to taste

  • 7–8 ice cubes (optional)


๐Ÿฅ„ Instructions

  1. Add the chopped mangoes and bananas to a blender.

  2. Add the cardamom seeds and rose water.

  3. Pour in ½ cup milk and blend until smooth and fine.

  4. Add sugar or honey (adjust to taste), the remaining ½ cup milk, and 2 cups curd (yogurt).

    • Add ice cubes at this stage if using.

  5. Blend again until the lassi is smooth, creamy, and frothy.

  6. Pour into tall glasses.

  7. Serve immediately for best taste and freshness.

  • You may add other fruits of your choice, but ensure they pair well with yogurt.

  • Avoid acidic fruits such as lemons, oranges, tangerines, and melons (watermelon, muskmelon, cantaloupe), as they do not combine well with curd.

  • For a lighter version, use skimmed milk and low-fat or skim-milk yogurt.

  • For extra richness, you may replace part of the milk with chilled water or add a spoon of fresh cream.
